3 Pillars of Conscious Consumption
1. Put your money where your passion is. Make purchasing decisions that reflect the things that are important to you. You don't have to be perfect, just purposeful.
2. Live on less. Eat reasonably. Buy fewer toys. Don't buy cheap crap you won't use. Spend you time doing free or low cost activities that are fulfilling.
3. Shift your values from prosperity to community. Instead of thinking about how to get rich, think about how to get happy. Spend time volunteering, connecting to people nearby, taking up new hobbies, and caring for family members.
